Programme 2008

February 25th - A presentation evening by our own Lenare Thompson
showing her recent trip to the Antarctic. The Church Room,
Wenhaston, at 7.30pm

March 31st - Competition – the theme being ‘Open’
Church Room, Wenhaston at 7.30pm

April 21st - Selection night of prints/slides for forthcoming competition.
Church Room, 7.30pm

April 24th - Competition against Framlingham Camera Club being held at
Church Room, Wenhaston at 7.30pm

April 28th - Member’s print forum evening at Wenhaston Church Room
7.30pm. Bring along 5 or so prints to discuss in a relaxed
atmosphere.

May 19th - ‘Out and about’ evening in Walberswick, meet
7.30pm at the Harbour Car Park.

June 2nd - Member’s de-brief evening showing some of the
photographs taken at Walberswick. Meet in the Church
Room, Wenhaston at 7.30pm

June 23rd Club competition on the theme of ‘Legs’.
Church Room,Wenhaston at 7.30pm

June 30th - Selection night for entries to forthcoming
competitions against Greshams Insurance and Wickham
Market. Meet Wenhaston Church Room 7.30pm

July 4th - Competition against Wickham Market and Greshams
Insurance. Held at Wickham Market Village
Hall at 7.30pm

Sun 13th July - ‘Out and about day’ with our cameras at a
location to be decided

July 28th - ‘Cyrils Night’ a light hearted competition where
each member shows a print taken of a subject drawn out
a hat previously. Meet at the Church Room at 7.30pm

August 18th - Visiting speaker to be announced Wenhaston at
7.30pm.

Sat 23rd until - Annual Exhibition at the United Reformed Church
Mon 25th Aug (First Floor), Quay Street, Halesworth
Open each day 10.00 until 5.00pm. Members present,
Do please come along for a chat and support the club.

September 8th - Visiting speaker to be announced Wenhaston at
7.30pm.

September 22nd - Club competition on the theme of ‘Trees’.
Church Room,Wenhaston at 7.30pm

October 20th - Visiting Speaker. Details to be announced later.
7.30pm at Wenhaston.

October 27th - Selection evening for battle against Beccles.
7.30pm at The Church Room,Wenhaston.

November 24th - Club Competition - on the theme of ‘Agriculture’ 7.30pm
at The Church Room

December 15th - Christmas Social. The usual merriment in the Church Room
coupled with Member’s own Audio Visual presentations

January 19th 2009 - Annual General Meeting, in the Church Room at 7.30pm
